Questions you may have
Who comes to the home, and how do you check them?
Nurses, physiotherapists, doctors and caregivers. Before anyone receives requests we check their licence and syndicate membership, their criminal record certificate and their malpractice fund subscription. After each visit, your rating helps us keep the standard high.
Can I book a visit for my father while I live abroad?
Yes. Book from your account at your parent's address in Egypt, follow the visit live and receive the report afterwards. You can also add your siblings to the care circle so they can follow too.
How is the price set? Are there hidden fees?
The price depends on the service, the area and the request details, and you see it in full before you confirm. What you see before confirming is what you pay.
What if the provider is late or doesn't show up?
The system follows every visit; if there is a delay it automatically looks for a suitable replacement and keeps you informed. Support is available 24 hours a day if you need anything.
What is the visit code?
A code you receive in the app. The provider must get it from you or from someone at home to start the visit, so you know the person at the door is the one we verified.
Is my parent's health data safe?
Health data is stored encrypted and is only visible to the provider responsible for the visit and the people you allow. You can review your consents and data in the app's privacy center.
What should I do in an emergency?
HMC24 is not an ambulance service. In any emergency call the ambulance on 123 immediately. During a visit, the SOS button in the app alerts the support team at once.
How do I join as a nurse or therapist?
Sign up on the provider sign-up page, upload the required documents, and after review and verification you can start receiving requests at the times and in the areas you choose.
